The Walk. Getting to know the city (El paseo. Intervenir la ciudad) is an invitation to discover the city in a different way: from the experiences of those who live in it, miss it, or dream about it, combining joyously with those who create, and those who walk around it.
The exhibition, which was held at the Casa Amarilla to celebrate Robert Walser on the 100th anniversary of the publication of his book The Walk, included an extensive programme of activities, the content of which has been published in two notebooks. The first volume, in addition to the exhibition catalogue, brings together the reflections, memories and impressions of artists and strollers in the city of Zaragoza. The second notebook relates the content of the activities that took place: the weekly events comprising the “In front of the image” cycle, the experiences of “Walks around the city”, the content from the different “Working Meetings”, and the transcripts of those who took part in the two days dedicated to public art and strategies for a pedestrian city under the “Dialogues. Days of analysis and reflection” programme.
