Círculo de Tiza. Imágenes y voces que interrogan (Circle of Chalk. Pictures and voices that question) is an exhibition that addresses the difficulties, limitations and achievements of women in current times. “Circle of chalk” is a metaphor for the impression that fades in time but always leaves a trace. The neutral typography chosen for the graphics is broken down to draw you into this image of lingering impression and multiple voices.
The catalogue, published by the University of Zaragoza, brings together artists who are questioned with the dual aim of speaking out against and destabilizing the system that excludes them.
